  My Father died on March 9th his ashes were lost by them.... we were lied to and told the death certificate was denied by the State ( not true)we are still waiting to have a ceremony...looking into legal options now. Their practices should be investigated!

  Although my grandmother passed on March 10, 2015, I would like to reach out and post a review. Everybody on the staff at Dolfi's were absolutely wonderful. So kind, empathetic, and loving as we were going through the most earth shattering thing our family has experienced. I couldn't say anything bad about any of it. It was just so nice to feel trust in someone with our loved one as we went through the hardest time of our lives. We received her ashes less than a week after her viewing.

  I wanted to say thank you! My grandmother passed over a year ago. I traveled out from our hometown with my wife to meet my mother for my grandmothers funeral that had been pre-planned, from my understanding. Della had a wonderful life and she was the best grandmother ever! I had so many good memories with her. You, your staff, and your family helped us through a difficult time. You made the situation the best it could be and my grandma would have appreciated that. I also wanted to thank you for the personal attention you gave to our family. I had a great time being able to meet your family. The way you made us feel included in your family made me feel closure with mine. My grandma lived a full and wonder life. She meant the world to me! She has had the biggest impact on my life and I will always treasure that feeling. I have to thank you so much for the personal time you gave to me and my family in one of the most important losses in my life. Your giving and thoughtfulness during a difficult time of year gave me solace. I keep the mad elf as a reminder of the help you gave to me and my family in a time of loss! Thank you to you and your business in our special time. The way we were treated will not be forgotten. Don't hesitate in trusting the special moments of our lives to be handled by Eric, his staff, and family. Thanks E.

  This funeral home was contracted by my father's Crematorium Society to handle his cremation and obtain the death certificates. My father died on March 9, 2015. Today is April 23, 2015. We have been told the death certificate was rejected by the state of West Virginia and they would not send the ashes until the corrected certificate was received. Today I called the Vital Statistics in WV. I was told a correct certificate was issued March 10. It was not rejected and it was not amended. I was told the ashes were sent to the Cremation Society but I have to wait for a tracking number. When I called the Cremation Society they said they received a call from Dolfi right after I spoke to them to say they would not be shipping the ashes. They have called Dolfi numerous times and were told every time the funeral director would get back to them and to date this has not happened. So, we now have lies and deception, a missing body and no death certificate. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!
